PESHAWAR:Scores of activists of the Pakhtunkhwa Mili Awami Party (PkMAP) protested against the May 12, 2007 killings in Karachi outside the Peshawar Press Cl dunk homme ub on Monday. They demanded a judicial enquiry of the tragedy be held to nab those responsible.Led by Faroo dunk low q Mandokhel, president of PkMAP s student wing, the protesters were holding placards expressing solidarity with those killed in the violence seven years ago. They shouted slogans against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement for their alleged involvement in the incident.More than 40 people were killed and dozens injured when supporters of then-deposed chief justice yeezy 700 Iftikhar Chaudhry fought with their rivals.Mandokhel said the thousands of Pukhtuns living in Karachi should be protected and exemplary punishment be meted out to those involved in this national tragedy . The innocent people, majority of them Pukthuns, killed that day were struggling for an independent judiciary, he said.
