How to Save Money on Popular Online Stores?
#1
Information
Hey! You know how we are always looking for ways to save money when shopping online? I've picked up several tips in the meantime that could help you get the best deals on some of the most popular online stores: Amazon, AliExpress, and Temu. Whatever you do first, here are some tips that will guarantee that you keep more cash in your pocket.

Before you hit that "Buy Now" button, spend two minutes checking for a coupon code. Let me tell you, it's worth the additional effort. Most stores, especially the big ones, like Amazon, Newegg, and Sam's Club, have always made sure to provide some promo code or discount. You can easily find those codes on websites like CouponFYI or even on the social media pages of the stores themselves. Just copy and paste at check-out, and voilà! A nice little discount is yours.

For example, on Amazon, the price of which is already quite low, if you apply a promo code, it would seem just like another surprise. Like not looking for one, and there's your surprise discount. In this matter, joining the membership program of a store can save you more than what you have estimated. Store chains like Sam's Club and AliExpress offer loyalty programs to their members. These let you have some exclusive deals and even free shipping.

AliExpress, for example, has a membership that will grant you points and special coupon codes, just for shopping frequently. Therefore, if you were going to shop there anyway, it's well worth it. Also, if you're the kind of person who's hooked on technological devices and buys a lot from gadget stores, signing up for Newegg.com's news summary or simply going through their section of sales will do the trick. They publish coupons for electric gadgets, and with those, you can save a lot on things like laptops and gaming gear, among many others.

Stacking deals is one of my favorite tricks. What does that mean? That means making multiple discounts at one time. Some stores let you combine a promo code with ongoing sales or free shipping. For example, if there is some seasonal sale on AliExpress, you can still throw in a coupon code for extra savings. That's like doubling up on discounts, and it's perfect for bigger purchases.

You must also remember that so many stores have seasonal sales and clearance sales going on. If you are in luck, catching those during Black Friday or Cyber Monday, you will see amazing prices, and after adding the coupon code, it will be serious savings.

Sign up for newsletters; I know, I know- nobody likes getting too many emails. But seriously, one of the easiest ways to get exclusive deals is by signing up for a store's newsletter. Places like Temu, Amazon, and DHgate will send promo codes, flash sales, and discounts directly to your inbox. Sometimes they'll even give you a discount just for signing up!

For example, Temu offers massive discount codes for new customers who just signed up, which is ideal for those skeptical to give them a try. On DHgate, you'll be getting regular updates on coupons that will knock down the prices on anything from electronics to clothes.

Here's one of those sneakier ways to save: use price tracking tools. Websites like CamelCamelCamel or browser extensions such as Honey track the price history of products, especially on Amazon. In that way, you can tell whether a product has recently gone down in price, or whether its price has been inflated just to go back down and feign being on sale. Such tools will also let you know when an item's price goes down, enabling you to get in and grab it while it is the cheapest.

Who doesn't love free shipping? Keep your eyes peeled for free shipping deals. Many retailers offer free shipping specials if you reach a certain threshold, such as Sam's Club which has coupon codes for free shipping, so be sure to check those out. Free shipping codes are a savior, especially with a bulkier item which you would have to pay your arm and leg to ship.  And let's not forget about Amazon Prime: if you do shop at Amazon quite regularly, that free 2-day shipping alone might be worth the membership fee, not to mention the streaming and other perks attached to it.

Never take a price at face value. Spend a couple of minutes determining if it can be found elsewhere at a better price. Many retailers market very similar, or sometimes even identical, products where prices differ between stores. Thus, when you happen to purchase something from Newegg, make sure to check Amazon and DHgate if it is cheaper somewhere else.
A pro tip here is that you do it on a comparison site, such as Google Shopping, which shows the prices across several retailers. You can then find the lowest price for whatever item you want without having to go through the sites one by one.

Other stores have bundles or special "buy more, save more" deals for just about any tech or food item, or when items are purchased in bulk. This is true for Sam's Club, for instance. You can get items in bulk and often get a much greater price per item compared to buying each item individually. So, if you know you're going to need something a few times, it may be cheaper to buy a bundle or stock up during a promotion.

With AliExpress, you get value for money with bundled deals or products; the more you buy, the cheaper it will be. That comes in quite useful, especially when you need phone accessories or any other kitchen gadgets.

Finally, if you don't mind a few extra accounts to follow, stores usually post exclusive deals and flash sales on their social media pages. For example, Newegg often posts promo codes, giveaways, or other timely offers on Instagram or Twitter, and the same thing for other stores as well. Plus, you'll be able to get real-time updates about upcoming sales or events.
